VFU guarantees all outgoing Erasmus+ students full academic recognition of their placement at the partner institution. This recognition can only be refused if the student fails to achieve the level required by the host institution, or in some other way does not satisfy the conditions for full recognition of the Erasmus period set by the mobility partner institutions.

At the end of each successfully completed Erasmus+ period, the host institution issues the student a document certifying the results achieved during the placement (Traineeship certificate). The document is part of the student’s placement agreement.

The results achieved during the outgoing mobility are recorded by the relevant departmental Erasmus+ coordinator in a document certifying academic recognition (Proof of Recognition), which is signed by the dean of the faculty where the student is educated and the institutional Erasmus+ coordinator.

The results of outgoing Erasmus+ students recognized by VFU during the mobility period are entered in the educational records by the relevant departmental Erasmus+ coordinator.

The results of outgoing Erasmus+ students recognized by VFU during mobility are entered in the ‘Student Status’ database by a Front Office employee after their official entry in the educational records by the authorized persons.

A course studied at the host institution, but not corresponding to those included in the student’s syllabus at VFU, is entered as an additional course in the Diploma Supplement.

The mobility of “recently graduated students” is not subject to academic recognition. The results achieved during the outgoing mobility of the “recently graduated students” are entered in the “Europass mobility” document.

Academic recognition must take place within 5 (five) weeks after receiving the student’s academic report/traineeship certificate.

Participation in student mobility for placement is considered successful if the student has achieved the results set out in the agreement.
