After being approved to take part in mobility by VFU (and before signing their traineeship agreements), every student (except those for whom the relevant language is native) who will benefit from the online service must pass an online language assessment of their skills in the main foreign language they will use during their study or placement abroad.
Online language course and test are done only in the foreign languages that are available in the online language support system.
In case the level of language proficiency, determined by the test, is lower than the level required by the host institution, then VFU is obliged to grant the student a license to study in an online language course.
As a result of the obtained results, the Institutional Erasmus+ coordinator determines the number of students who need online language courses;
A student who achieves a level of the language test between A1 and B1 level automatically receives a license for an online language course;
A student who achieves a level of the language test in the language in which the training/placement will be carried out in the host institution between B2-C2 can receive a license to do an online language course in the official language of the host institution;
A student who has received a license for a course has the right to start it up to one month after the allocation;
Taking into account the number of available online licenses for language courses, VFU distributes the licenses according to the needs of the students. Students undertake to complete the online course as specified and agreed in the grant agreement;
At the end of the mobility period, the student will be reassessed to check their progress in learning the primary foreign language. The results will be communicated to the student and the institutional Erasmus+ coordinator.
In case the student has used a license for an online language course and refuses to participate in mobility, he/she should refund the amount of money paid for the course.
